The latest limited edition chronograph from Ball is a classic worldtimer, with a bold, eye-catching range of dial colours. There are two blue dials to choose from and we reckon the ice blue is the sharper one. That said the white dial with black sub-dials is a classic combo. Black dial rounds out the range of colourways.
Swiss made, swiss movement and the signature Ball gas tube lume too. Nice big day/date window, which is a plus point for us, we hate tiny date windows, pointless. Bracelet or NATO strap options too.
At 44mm wide it’s pretty beefy and has a see-thru caseback as well, which lets you view the beautifully finished movement. The chapter ring can be rotated so you can choose to track the time in 24 different cities around the world. Whether you travel, or just want to keep tabs on when the China/US/Australia office is working, it does the job.

Here’s the word from Ball;
The Engineer II Navigator World Time Chronograph is a robust tool designed for international travelers, explorers and pilots alike. The automatic timepiece features 24 time zones, a 12-hour chronograph function, and revolutionary micro gas tube luminosity. With a simple twist of the bezel, easily set the preferred world city at the 12 o’clock position. And at 44 mm, its size and stature are incomparable.
The contrasting dial design marks the latest additions to the signature tool watch series, a statement piece that fits for all occasions.
Limited to 1,000 pieces each. Now available for pre-order at an exclusive price until 4 October 2023 of £2260.
