A special batch of just 67 Bremont Chronometer watches, with the famous Mountain course on the caseback, plus the TT Races logo on the dial, have just been released. The white dial chronograph has a real racebike clocks look, with sharp tipped red needles marking the stopwatch seconds, plus adding contrast to the sub-dials.
Silicone rubber strap, sapphire crystal and a bi-directional bezel finish off the look. Inside is a Bremont Cal 13 movement, with 56 hours of reserve. It also has 200m of depth resistance. Pretty chunky at 43mm across and it stands 15.8mm high. That isn’t Snaefell high, but still sitting high on the wrist. You won’t be sliding this watch under your leathers.
That would be a bad idea, since the Bremont TT edition chronograph retails at £5,495 and damaging that in a slight rainy bend `off’ would be a bit gutting.
Verdict; One for the ultimate TT fan who has visited every year since McGuinness was a nipper.
