Farer has launched a range of Moonphase watches, which celebrate pioneers in astrophysics, plus offer classic dress watch styling details.
The three Eddington, Halley and Burbidge models all have 38mm cases, chamfered towards the lugs in a 1930s Deco streamlined style. They also have a dappled effect on the side of the case. Salmon, sky blue or night sky deep blue are your dial colour choices. There’s a small date window at 6 o’clock, plus the crown is embossed with the little Farer arrow logo.
The see-thru caseback lets you view the Sellita SW288 series movement, which is decorated with blue screws for some extra visual appeal.
The moon itself has superlume so it glows in the dark by the way.
This is an interesting range from Farer and at £1475 it isn’t too expensive.
