It’s been a while since we checked in on Accurist and there are some nice looking Mens models in their line up.

First up are two new colourways for the Origin chronograph. This 41mm watch has a steel bracelet and now comes in all-black, or silver bracelet and blue dial combo. Miyota quartz movement inside, 100m depth, sapphire crystal and QR bracelet fastener, so you can easily swap to a leather strap if you feel like it. Price remains at £209, which is a little high for us, but it does feel like a quality watch.

PRX TRIBUTE

Now if you like the Tissot PRX range then you’ll be interested to check out the Accurist Origin Classic, (above) with gold tone bracelet, plus a waffle effect green dial. It has all the dress watch style, but at £179 it’s a bit cheaper than the Tissot PRX quartz, which is over £300 at most UK High Street retailers.

What we love about the Accurist is the chamfered bracelet links and the flush fit to the case. They really nailed this Tissot homage look and it also has 100m of resistance, sapphire crystal and 5 year warranty. Better value than the Origin chrono in some respects.

200m HERITAGE DIVER

Accurist used to make a superb dive watch back in the 60s, which used a premium level Swiss movement. Now quite collectable, the 60s watch has inspired a new quartz 200m diver, which has a classic blue dial, unidirectional bezel, sapphire crystal plus plenty of lume on the hands and markers for night time. It’s a nice retro watch, with a screw-on caseback, so with the right tool you can easily change the battery yourself.
