New Brown Bezel Ball Roadmaster Pilot GMT

The latest Ball watches is the Roadmaster Pilot GMT and it actually pulls off a brown bezel pretty well, which is not easy. Sometimes a brown bezel can look a bit hot chocolate drinks cup, but this one catches the eye nicely we think. Same spec as the existing Pilot GMT, just a different bezel colour combination. The 40mm wide case will suit most people, the gas tube lume is kinda legendary and there’s 300m of water resistance.

All the Ball Roadmaster Pilots are COSC grade certified as well, so you are buying a top spec timekeeper, at a fraction of the cost of a Breitling, Rolex, Blancpain, Vacheron etc. Indie rivals include the Formex Reef at £1790 or the Christopher Ward C65 Aquitaine at £1105.

Here’s the word from Ball;

The Roadmaster Pilot GMT series is equipped with two remarkable timekeeping functions that soar to new levels of convenience. When traveling, simply push the quick-set buttons to jump the local 12-hour hand to its desired position without stopping the seconds hand. Then easily turn the crown to jump the date correctly into position, eliminating the need to circle the dial with the hour hand.
Complete with a virtually-scratchproof ceramic bezel, amazingly bright micro gas lights and chronometer-grade precision, the Pilot GMT is an ingenious traveler’s watch for the modern explorer. The heart-warming richness of chocolate brown colour paired with the classic black, forms the eye-catching two-tone ceramic bezel of the latest addition to the Pilot GMT series.
