Swatch Group are taking their very much in-demand Moonswatch on tour this summer, kicking off today in Amsterdam. Each themed Moonswatch will have its onw Fiat 500 car, painted in various colours to match the watches.

The plan seems to be to send each car to various European capitals – including London – so that pop-up Moonswatch promo events can take place. We guess that these will be likely to happen at Omega stores, but for reasons of crowd control, they could be at an established event, so that the Omega dealer can set up a stand there.

One thing is certain, Swatch has no plans to sell the Moonswatch online anytime soon.

Summer is the time for travel, adventure, festivals and fun, and Swatch is taking a road trip that’s out of this world. Eleven MoonSwatch rolling planets will start their journey from the Swatch Global Headquarters in Biel, Switzerland, and tour Europe, stopping at must-see and unexpected destinations. Will there be the chance to buy the MoonSwatch from these rolling planets? Yes!

Launched earlier this year, the Bioceramic MoonSwatch Collection pays tribute to the first watch on the moon, the OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch. Each of the eleven models references a different planet or celestial body within the solar system, and encourages wearers to dream big, fly high, and explore the universe.
