Farer Release 100 Extra Thurso Aquamatics

Farer have just released another 100 pieces of their Thurso sports watch, which comes in a nice shade of teal if you like that summer vibe.

The compact 38.5mm steel case watch features an automatic Sellita SW220 movement, silver dial and plenty of lume on the hands and markers. Unidirectional bezel too, also with that bright teal colour.

It’s water resistant to 200m and has a handy day/date feature as well.

Oh yeah, why Thurso? Well Thurso is a place in Scotland renowned for its blustery weather and big waves. Been there, tried paddling in the sea, thought I was paralysed after 90 seconds.

The Thurso watch has a sapphire crystal and screw down crown naturally, plus silicone strap. For £895 it makes a versatile all-rounder, capable of swimming, scuba and looks different too. So many dive watches are black/white dial combos it’s good to see someone embrace teal rather than just Lorus/Seiko.

Just saying.
