Top Picks From the Summer Watch Sales

More Summer Sale goodness online right now!

After your NWC mag edictor picked up a Citizen Eco-Drive chrono at H Samuel for just £90, we were tempted by these discounts in the Stuhrling sale.

The Sailtimer quartz has a hefty 50% off and is now £87. The chunky  42mm wide watch has 200m of resistance, comes in blue or black dial options, plus has a silicone strap.

How does a Swiss automatic with copper tone case for £265 sound? The Stuhrling Heritage Auto is down to that price right now. Feauturing a CL-888 Swiss movement inside the 47mm case, plus 200m of water resistance. See thru caseback as well.

Range of dial colours; blue, black, brown, green and red. More at the Stuhrling site here.

SKAGEN

Over at Skagen the Melbye three hand classic gents watch is down to £74, which is reasonable. It has a 40mm case, slim profile, quartz movement and Milanese mesh bracelet which adds a dressy touch.

The Melbye skeleton automatic is £104, which is a fair price for something with a Miyota auto movement in there.

BEAVERBROOKS

At the High Street jeweller brand we saw a few nice bargains. A solar power Seiko Prospex for £350, rather than £550 is worth checking out.  A Certina DS Action diver at £625 is OK, but we would try to haggle that one down in store for £500.

There’s a hefty £1200 off a Bremont Jaguar, which only underlines the lack of interest in some Bremont models, plus hammers the resale values for those who paid full price. Now £3995 if you own a Jag and want to keep the faith.

The Rado Coupole auto makes an interesting alternative to something like the Breitling Top Time and at £1030 it’s much more affordable. 42mm case, silver dial, twin sub-dial layout, big pushers and crown add a retro motorsport touch.
