The TAG Monaco remains an enduring watch design for collectors, especially the Gulf colours editions. Ithas that classic 60s motorsport vibe, the Steve McQueen connection still addds a touch of cool, and its square case means it stands out in an ocean of round case Swiss watches.

There is a special version from TAG to celebrate the historic GP event in Monaco, where the classic racing cars from the 60s to the 90s do parade laps.  This clip from 2021 has a great in-cockpit view – and sound – of 1970s style F1 battle commencing.

It’s a great event, where lucky fans can see some of the greatest cars of the golden era in action.

This Gulf X edition has that hypnotic blue dial, with Gulf racing colours overlaid, plus you get Gulf colours on the sub-dials and a big 60 on the dial, standing for 60th anniversary.
