There’s no brand name on the dial, but the same aspiration to create a petrolhead’s delight underpins the project. It’s been fully funded and the intro price is just $650 – so yeah, affordable too.

Yes, you can push a button and parts move inside the engine bay. That’s a pub conversation starter. It’s big at 50mm across, and thick too, with tiny shocks inside the case that sits high on the wrist. Not gonna lie, it isn’t very practical, but for a day out at a car show or the racetrack – yeah, why not?

There are a range of colours, including a bright Italian red. Handy.
