If you love heritage and great architecture then Mido’s latest All Dial Automatic is perfect. Featuring an egraving of the Coliseum in Rome on the caseback, plus a sort of granite effect dial, the watch has a subtle grey look that’s classic and unlikely to date over time.
Now if you’re buying a Mido then you should know that the resale value is limited. This is a niche brand, albeit part of Swatch and sharing some common movement base calibres. So servicing should be easy, even if selling one on is a tougher proposition.
This All Dial model has a 3 year warranty, plus a COSC grade ETA 2836 movement inside its 42.2mm case. Steel case, sapphire crystal and a special presentation box too. Ltd edition of 2022 pieces. No price yet, still on pre-order.
Verdict; If it’s under £1000 this is worth considering as a dress watch. Great looks, excellent build quality.
