Kickstarter Watches: Meisterstein TEOS

We just spotted this new project on Kickstarter and if you love minmalist German watches, this could be worth a look. Here’s the word;

Meisterstein is proud to launch its second timepiece on Kickstarter: the Meisterstein TEOS. A minimalist and modern automatic watch – made in Germany. In 2021, we launched our first successful Kickstarter campaign with the Meisterstein MINOA.

In the wake of the campaign, many people enquired whether we had plans for a watch with an automatic movement. Now we would like to take this step and launch our very first automatic watch: the Meisterstein TEOS. In order to secure the necessary funds for the high-quality materials and the complex assembly in Germany, we again need your support.

The TEOS is in keeping with our design philosophy: minimalist and modern. The Bauhaus influence can also be felt in our latest model. The clean objectivity of the dial with modern applications define the appearance of the TEOS.

The TEOS is also available in green and blue dial options.

40MM CASE, SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL

The case is 40 mm in diameter and made of high-grade 316L stainless steel. Commonly referred to as surgical steel, 316L is characterized by its high tensile strength and its resistance to corrosion and heat. The slim automatic movement has allowed us to minimize the case thickness. At merely 10 mm, the TEOS is the perfect daily companion harmonizing perfectly with both suits and leisure wear.

The TEOS has a flat sapphire crystal and is equipped with an internal anti-reflective coating, minimizing undesirable reflections. Sapphire crystal is one of the most robust watch glasses available and is exceptionally scratch-resistant. We also use sapphire crystal for the back cover, offering an unobstructed view of the interior workings.

Inside there is the trusty Miyota 9015 automatic movement, which means servicing should be easy when needed. In fact you could simply swap the movement via a watchmaker for under £200.

On pre-order the TEOS starts at £251 on the super early bird deal. You can get a set of three for £738. Not bad for something hand made in Germany we think.
