The Seiko NH35/36 movements are a benchmark automatic power unit, so you have to admire Indiegogo brands like Galo, who are making good use of them.
The latest crowdfunded project – dubbed O.E.G. – is a classic styled, three hand auto, with date or day/date window options. Plus Italian leather straps for an extra £12 – can’t fault that.
You can buy all three dial colour choices for £357 on Indiegogo, which we think is a bargain. The OEG also features a sapphire crystal, plus the highly fashionable 38mm case width.
One watch costs £139, which compares very nicely with something like a Timex Waterbury or an Ingersoll Scovill auto – both over £300.
It all adds up price wise, but does it work for you? Take a look at the Indie page here – delivery of the watches is scheduled for April/May btw.
