MMI Watches Turret Marine is still funding on the IndieGoGo platform and their Seiko VK powered chrono is available in a variety of dial colours on pre-order. Although the grey dial has sold out – just shows, grey is definitely the in colour this year.

It has a real Le Mans motorsport vibe to it, with the sub-dials stacked vertically like many Valjoux 7733 movement watches of the era and the Seiko Sports chrono model.

It’s a quartz but has that classic 70s Swiss automatic chrono styling. Super luminova on the hands and markers,  Double domed sapphire crystal, steel case, plus a sandwich dial for some fine definition when you turn it this way n that.
