If love the classic styling of the old Movado triple date watches then Ball have just the thing for you. The Engineer II Moon Calendar has those elegant day/month windows front and centre on the dial, with a crescent tipped hand indicating the date on the track at the edge of the dial.
There are green, blue or white dial options, plus you get that famous Ball watch lume and the moonphase feature in the lower half of the dial. A 40mm case width makes this a classic dress watch and you get sapphire crystals front and rear.

It is a quality job all round and the intro price is £1810, which puts it on par with some of the Hamilton chrono models like the Intra-Matic, which again has a vintage style appeal mixed with modern watchmaking precision.
Apart from limited collector appeal affecting the Ball’s resale value a bit compared to their dive models, you have to say this is a winner in terms of longevity. Although the blue dial option is probably always going to be easier to sell on than the green one.
