Momentum Watches has been busy lately launching new models and the Aquamatic is a tasty Miyota powered dive timepiece that offers decent specs for the money.
We like the see-thru caseback and the gold tone movement parts, which addds a little something to the Cal. 9015 auto movement inside. There’s 200m of water resistance, plus Rolex Sub style hands, plus plenty of lume on that dial. Black or blue dial options by the way.
You can get a silicone strap as an optional extra too, although the steel bracelet looks well made. Case width is 42mm which most people would agree is pretty much the benchamark size for dive models now.
With the screwdown crown at the 4 o’clock position, this has the look of a Seiko dive or MOD watch and that’s a good thing. The price is £447, plus taxes.
