You have to hand it Portugal based brand Meia Lua, they have got a great name for a wristwatch in the word Callisto. It sounds like an expensive cigar when it trips off the tongue.
Even better, this triple date watch ticks so many boxes; limited edition, automatic movement, sapphire, AR-coated crytsal and a width of 42mm exclusing crown.
It is a very well designed dress watch, with light and dark blue, black, silver, white and a a semi red option, which is kinda burgundy from some angles.
Inside there is a Miyota movement, which isn’t anything special except that it powers the date, weekday and month – so you get that triple time feeling. That is an extra layer of timekeeping that can cost you over £1000 on the vintage Swiss market, so we say good work Meia Lua. It is good to set your brand apart a little bit.
Steel bracelet, witha push-button deployment, set on 22m wide lugs. So that gives you lots of options for an aftermarket leather strap if you feel like it. There is also a see-thru mineral crystal caseback.
