On the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the liberation of Italy, Giuliano Mazzuoli celebrates a free Italy and presents “Manometro Italia.” The Mazzuoli watches have celeb fans, especially Russell Crowe and Ed Sheeran, whoc reportedly own a few.
The colour of the dial on this chunky case Manometro watch is available in either black or white, with Arabic numerals. The hour and minute hands have a luminescent line and the seconds hand is red with an arrow point at the top. This is a watch that goes nicely with your Abarth, Alfa or Lancia classic car, or perhaps a Ducati, MV or Moto Morini motorcycle.
The robust case is cylindrical, which marks the Mazzuoli watches out as being that bit different and made of steel and epoxy resins in the colors of the Italian flag.
Inside? Well the watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical Swiss automatic movement ETA 2824, which for some buyers will be a disappointment, as you expect something with some upgrades like different balance wheel, hand-finished rotor etc.
The strap of the watch is handcrafted in Tuscany and available in either black or white leather. At 2500 euros this is an undeniably expensive ETA powered automatic, but the round case and striking colours do cut a certain dash.
