Frederique-Constant Expands Its Austin-Healey Range

Frederique Constant have sent us details on a new classic car inspired watch. The Vintage Rally “Healey” limited editions have worked their way into the affections of classic enthusiasts and were created as a result of a partnership between the Frederique Constant Manufacture and the Austin-Healey car brand.

The previous edition of the Vintage Rally Healey Automatic dates back to 2018 – and frankly we love these old school chronograph watches, which really take you back to the 60s.

Now FC has added two new three-hand models, with date. Putting its tradition of sporty chronographs on hold, Frederique Constant has given the Vintage Rally Healey Automatic a more urban design. Each of the models features an automatic FC-303 calibre with a date window at 3 o’clock and a power reserve of 38 hours.

On the caseback is the individual serial number for each piece, strictly limited to 2,888 units, which comes in a collector’s gift set complete with miniature replica of the NOJ393 Healey 100S model, which went for $1.3 million at auction.

There are two new models; one is rose gold, while the other is a more traditional British Racing Green dial option. Kinda suits the car theme better we reckon. There’s no word on UK prices in the press kit, but given that the 2018 Healey chronograph is currently on Goldsmiths website at £2,500-ish, then we will take a guess at £1,800 for the three hand model.
