Gardiner Houlgate Kickstarts Watch Auctions After Coronavirus

Gardiner Houlgate is re-starting its watch auctions soon, and inviting entries by 5th June, for the Sale which takes place on the 24th June 2020. Here’s the statement from GH;

We are now inviting quality entries for our forthcoming Watch Auction

To include vintage & modern brand wristwatches, antique pocket watches and watchmaker’s accessories

The final entry deadline will be on the 5th June

We are offering competitive selling rates with prompt payment
Whether a single watch or collection, if you are considering selling then please contact David Hare

Due to the current situation we have been receiving entries via the Royal Mail Special Delivery service. Appointment from around mid-May can be booked subject to further notice.

Give David a call to discuss on 01225 812912

The sale will be a live physical auction with online bidding via two platforms to ensure maximum coverage.

MAY SALE

GH also have a mini Sale due on May 20th, with some interesting watches listed in the Catalogue. We like the Swiss Regulatuer in 18ct gold, which is estimated to make about £1200. There’s an IWC stainless steel Gents mechanical, with some visible wear – starting bid is £240, quite tempting.

Couple of Omega automatics too, one with a classic 1970s TV dial style case. Again low starting bids on those. Worth a look.
